Where lives true Nima?

At 4 years old, while sirens wailed over wartime Iran, I discovered my first love affair. Not with a person—with stories. As my family huddled in our basement shelter, waiting for sirens to stop, I was transfixed by dusty books abandoned under the stairway. In the darkness of those days, literature whispered to me. One cover changed everything: William Kennedy's Ironweed, staring back at me like a promise of worlds beyond the war.

That passion never left me. It shaped the misfit, the rebel, the troublemaker you see today—someone who refuses to be normal. I promise y'all that I'll stay that way forever and always see things differently. Because that character forged in that wartime basement, seeking worlds beyond war, is what makes me curious, caring, honest, and alive. I'm also a private trader. Masochist, you might say. Right.

My advice to everyone? Stay crazy. Don't get normal. Rise & Seek.

Yours Truly,

N

What I believe in

Realism is effective, but it requires a reality distortion field to effectively suppress negativity.

O1. Hope
O2. Passion

I meant focus, but passion is more appealing, isn’t it? Imagine yourself as an arrow or a bullet, piercing through everything and reaching your goals.

O3. Self-belief

If you doubt yourself, one day you'll break, and nobody can put you back together, other than you. So don't lie to yourself; You're not doing it for others!

O4. Dare to be bold

Others don't know your inner scope of ambition. Keep being weird. I promise you, it's going to turn out fine. I promise you. Just stay true to yourself.

Skills

I began my professional journey as a translator, working on books about economics, technology, and financial markets—most notably Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs. That opened the door to journalism: first writing for Narenji, then co-founding Digiato, and later producing my own podcast, The Paratech.

For over a decade, I’ve also been an independent trader in forex and crypto, balancing analysis, risk management, and real-time decision-making. Alongside, I’ve built a strong practice in research, writing, and fact-checking across technology, macroeconomics, and digital culture.

Today, I’m based in London developing ideas true to my passions, storytelling and trading.
